Most pillows are made for adults. A child’s neck is smaller, and it changes as they grow. Put a two-year-old on an adult pillow and their head tips forward; put a ten-year-old on a toddler pillow and it sinks too low. That is why the Adzen Pillow comes in three sizes, ages 1-3, 3-8 and 8-14, each with its own height.
Why “Adzen”, why “click”
Ad zen means towards calm: the bedtime every parent hopes for, without the fifth glass of water and the tenth “just one more”. The click is the moment it all falls into place: the head settles, the body relaxes, the night begins. Our name is the promise we work towards with every pillow.
How it is made
The Adzen Pillow is made in China, in a partner workshop that specialises in children’s pillows, to our specifications. Each pillow is checked before it leaves. Alongside it, we make a soft, washable cover in two designs, Unicorn and Astronaut, so it feels like their own.
